Microsoft’s decision to lay off 10 thousand employees

The American technology company Microsoft Corporation says that 10,000 employees will have to be laid off by the quarter of this fiscal year.

According to the company, the job cuts will cost Microsoft $1.2 billion and reduce earnings by 12 cents per share.

In July last year, Microsoft said that a small number of jobs had been cut, but the US media outlet reported that Microsoft had laid off 1,000 employees.

Demand for Microsoft’s Windows and other software has also declined since the end of the Corona epidemic.
