Explaining the situation of corona virus, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that two patients have died in the last 24 hours, while 263 new cases have been reported and 163 people have recovered.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that 14510 samples were tested in the last 24 hours as a result of which 263 new cases have come to light which is 1.8% of the assessment rate.
He said that two more patients died in the last 24 hours bringing the total death toll to 7571 which is 1.6 percent of the death rate.
The Chief Minister Sindh said that so far 6442909 samples have been tested and 469685 cases have been reported. He said that 163 more patients have recovered in the last 24 hours after which the total number of recovered persons has reached 450194 which is 95.9% of the recovery rate.
He said that at present 11920 patients are undergoing treatment out of which 11693 are undergoing treatment in homes, 24 in isolation centers and 203 in various hospitals.
He said that the condition of 199 patients was reported to be critical out of which 13 patients were on ventilators.
He said that out of 263 new cases in the province, 70 are from Karachi in which 25 new cases have been reported from Korangi, 15 from Eastern District, 10 from West District, 9 from South District, 7 from Central District and 4 from Malir.
Similarly Hyderabad 24, Tando Muhammad Khan 22, Thatta 16, Sanghar and Shaheed Benazirabad 14-14, Khairpur 12, Sujawal, Tharparkar and Tando Allahyar 9-9, Jamshoro, Shikarpur, Matiari and Mirpur Khas 8-8, Sukkur 7, Badin, Larkana and Ghotki 6-6, Umerkot 4, Jacobabad 2 new cases have come to light.
The Sindh Chief Minister also appealed to the people of the province to follow the SOPs.
