A delegation led by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saud called on Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid.
An announcement has been made of the meeting to be held in Islamabad, according to which Pak-Saudi relations, mutual interests and other issues were discussed on the occasion..
According to the statement, the meeting agreed to complete the investigation into the terrorist attack on the Saudi diplomat in Karachi as soon as possible.
During the talks, the Saudi delegation said that Pak-Saudi relations are historic and both the countries are proud of them.
He further said that the role of Interior Ministry in promoting Pak-Saudi bilateral relations was commendable.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that the joint investigation team of Sindh government would submit its report in 30 days and all those involved in the incident would be brought to book soon.
He said that the incident of terrorism against the Saudi diplomat in 2011 was very unfortunate and relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were based on mutual trust and brotherhood.
