India’s tour of Bangladesh will move to the next phase on Wednesday (December 14), with the first Test at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

Bangladesh won the T20I series by a margin of 2-1. India had a thumping victory over Bangladesh in the third T20I to have momentum going into the next series. Bangladesh have struggled in Test Cricket this year.

They opened their account in the very first game at the start of the year against New Zealand and has failed to win a single game since then. They lost their last series against West Indies in June by a 2-0 margin. Bangladesh have never won a Test match against India and will be looking to change this record under the leadership of ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.
